Welcome to my swoony world

Fashion, food and fabulous interiors that I started sharing on Instagram in May 2019 as a hobby that’s now a wonderful career I always dreamed of.

I live in Yorkshire with my husband and two fabulous children. They are my world and I love being a mum, a wife and working together on our family business and home.

My wonderful family and friends aside, fashion, make-up and getting dressed up – and talking about fashion – are my greatest pleasures and pass times.

The ritual of dressing in the morning is something I have always loved. Once I have the right outfit I can take on the world.

Scouring the shops for the perfect outfit and sharing my fashion finds and doing makeovers on friends and family is something I’ve been doing since I was a teenager. The only difference is the heels have got a little bit lower, the tops a little bit higher and instead of pounding the pavement I am a serial internet scroller!

Shopping and dressing well wasn’t and still isn’t about spending money (although I am lucky enough that I can, and do, indulge in a good Chanel splurge now and then) it’s about curating a collection that makes me happy, feel confident and helps me put my best foot forward.

As a teenager I dreamed of a career in fashion but, like lots of us, got swept up by life. The family business and a steady income swallowed up my time and my passion was put to one side. 

But, after the birth of my second child I decided to go for it and wow… what a ride it’s been. Sharing my fashion finds with my followers and creating a wonderful swoony online world has been a gift and an opportunity that I am eternally grateful for.

I am a solo shopper but I am a prolific sharer. The only thing better than finding something fabulous is helping someone else to look and feel great. Fast forward a couple of years and I've managed to launch my own range of luxury but affordable lounge wear (Swoon Love The Label.) I wear hoodies or sweatshirts at least three times a week to the gym, for a coffee, school run and everywhere in between. I wanted a high quality range that was soft and snuggly but organic and sustainable. I'm so happy that all out packaging is from recycled materials and we use zero plastic. Take a look under Edits.

It’s my favourite part - the conversations, the chat and the camaraderie – through Instagram I have met the most wonderful women, had the most amazing times and I cant wait to see what happens next.
